Product Manager, Companion Animal Portfolio

Expansion of our product portfolio has given rise to an exciting new opportunity within Marketing. We seek an energetic, enthusiastic Product Manager to join our team.

We’d like to talk to you if you have:
• A proven track record of selling into the veterinary and/or OTC companion animal markets preferably in Australia.
• Great communication skills with the ability to convey technical messages to all levels of audience.
• A ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work as part of a small team in a fast-paced Head Office environment.
• A willingness to travel within Australia and New Zealand.
• Tertiary qualifications in veterinary or animal science, commerce or marketing would be favourable.
• Excellent computer and administrative skills.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager you’ll use your creativity and commercial experience in areas such as:
• Contributing to marketing strategy development.
• Marketing project management
• Management of products throughout the product life cycle.
• New product launches including liaison with R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Manufacturing.
• Provision of support and training to the sales team.

Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer

Jurox holds Marketing Approvals for its products in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. The position will be a senior one in the Regulatory Affairs Department and will have a major role in obtaining and maintaining product approvals and ensuring that the company meets its various regulatory obligations in all jurisdictions in which the company operates globally.

The position requires an ability to keep abreast of regulatory requirements, to interact positively with regulatory authorities and colleagues from a range of disciplines, and to handle large amounts of technical information. Above average organisational ability and time management skills are essential, as are attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

The appointee will operate as a member of project teams including chemists, veterinarians, animal scientists and marketing personnel, and the position will have a supervisory role. Applicants therefore need a demonstrated ability to build and maintain good working relationships. Applicants should preferably have experience in regulatory activities in the field of animal health, and a University degree in one of the life sciences.

Senior Microbiologist

Jurox is a 100% Australian owned veterinary pharmaceutical and OTC animal health company. Jurox produces all of its pharmaceuticals in a state of the art manufacturing facility in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, supplying the Australian, New Zealand, European and North American markets.

Due to recent expansion of both our manufacturing and research departments we are looking to employ a senior microbiologist. This person will have one or two direct reports and have supervisory responsibilities for three to four graduates working in operations and QA/QC departments. The position will be diverse and interesting.

Essential Requirements:
The successful applicant will have the appropriate undergraduate degree together with a minimum of five years post graduate experience and ideally a PHD or post tertiary qualifications. The role will be responsible for PET studies, primary and secondary screening of compounds, water plant validation and clean room validation.

A permanent, fulltime position has become available for a Senior Research Scientist or Research Veterinarian at our Rutherford facility in the Hunter Valley of NSW, Australia. This position will report to the Head of Product Development. In this role, the main responsibilities will include designing, collaborating, executing, managing and writing reports on studies required for:
- Testing of product concepts
- Pharmaceutical product development suitable for registration dossiers
There would also be an opportunity to fulfil the role of Monitor for field studies, to work with veterinarians, farmers, co-operators, contract research organisations, chemists and regulatory affairs personnel, as well as to become and integral part of the Jurox R&D Quality System
